Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ieltsprep.ai (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Ieltsprep.ai is browser-based digital self-study software for IELTS Speaking practice, including a simulated speaking session with an AI examiner and an automated, AI-generated practice assessment and online feedback report. Access is delivered through your account. No physical goods, human tutoring or official examination booking are included.

Not affiliated with IELTS. Ieltsprep.ai is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the official IELTS test or its owners (the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge University Press & Assessment). "IELTS" is a trademark of its respective owners and is used here only to describe the exam our practice tool is designed for.

2. Accounts

You sign in using Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your access secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Credits, Plans & Payments

Practice is currently invitation-only. We approve access by email and assign an individual test budget. Signing up does not automatically grant practice credits. Once payments are enabled, a single test costs US$5 and adds one credit. The monthly subscription costs US$20 and adds five credits after each successful monthly payment, including the first payment. One credit is consumed when a practice test session begins. Paid products are available only when checkout is enabled. Applicable tax and the final amount payable are shown at checkout before purchase.

When paid checkout is enabled, payments will be processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. By making a purchase you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and will retain unused credits. Credits accumulate without a scheduled expiry and remain available after cancellation while your account remains open, subject to refunds and these Terms. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not remove credits from payments already completed. A failed or pending payment does not add credits. Additional single tests cost US$5 each. The subscription offers the same test and report features at a lower price per test.

4. Refunds

If a session fails to start, the service checks eligibility for restoring the test credit. A browser connection error alone does not confirm restoration. Contact support for a missing report or other unresolved issue. Payment refunds are handled through Paddle under its Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for instructions on requesting a refund or stopping subscription renewals.

5. AI-Generated Feedback — No Guarantee

Band scores and feedback are generated by automated systems and are estimates intended for practice only. They are not official IELTS scores and do not predict or guarantee your performance on an actual IELTS exam. Do not rely on them as a substitute for official testing or professional instruction. Current practice reports do not provide pronunciation or overall Speaking bands without acoustic assessment; text-supported criterion estimates are provisional. The Service is for personal self-study and does not award qualifications or certificates. Its outputs must not be used to make admissions, employment, immigration or other eligibility decisions about a person.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful or abusive;
• attempt to bypass access controls, credits, or security measures;
• disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Service; or
• share, resell, or provide access to your account to others.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, content, and branding, is owned by Ieltsprep.ai and protected by law. You retain ownership of the speech and responses you submit, and you grant us a limited licence to process them in order to provide and improve the Service (see our Privacy Policy).

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to us.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ieltsprep.ai is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

The service operates from Kazakhstan. Any applicable mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected. Contact us if you need information about the operator or a dispute.
